Construction Update: May 2026
As we move through May, construction at Rosalia, Gisborne continues to progress steadily, with strong momentum across multiple stages and key areas of the community taking further shape.
In Stage 3, both drainage installation and watermain works are complete. Road boxing has also commenced, marking the next phase of development as the stage continues to take form.
Stage 4 has seen significant progress this month, with drainage, road base construction and kerb and channel works now complete. Asphalt has been laid across the stage, along with the completion of electrical and NBN installation. Footpath and crossover construction is set to commence shortly, bringing the stage closer to completion.
Works have also commenced in Stage 5, where stripping and bulk earthworks are now complete. Sewer installation is underway, with drainage works scheduled to commence shortly.
Within the wetlands (WQ1), progress continues with rockwork, the shared concrete path and topsoiling all nearing completion. These works mark another step forward in delivering this key future amenity for residents.
