Fresh (and Free!) Local Produce Near Home

One of the true joys of living beyond the hustle and bustle of the big city is the warm, neighbourly spirit that defines the community.

A perfect example is the weekly Kyneton Fruit and Veg Share Stall, just 25 minutes drive from Rosalia. Every Sunday, The Kyneton Backyard Growers – a generous group of locals – donate their home-grown produce to the market. This gives everyone the chance to sample the region’s treasures while building connection with fellow locals.

The stall also invites growers, too. So if you’ve got your own veggie patch, why not share your surplus harvest with the wider community? It’s a much more sustainable way to get your hands on in-season fruit and veg while avoiding wastage (and meeting a few friendly faces in the process!)
